Meaning of faith without works is dead- One Minute with Jay

I have the upmost faith in you. The fact that you are reading this post means that you have some amount of faith and all you need is a small measure in order to spark positive change.

I know that about you.

I also know that you are only on the first step. Your next move is to act and continue to act otherwise the first step is absolutely meaningless.

You will not move forward almost like you are sitting in a car with a full tank of gas but afraid to press the gas pedal. That is the meaning of faith without works is dead. Letting the engine run, while all you do is watch.

Do not be a causal observer of your own life. Be active in it. Too many of us are acting like extras in our own movies, letting life just happen.

Even if you are unsure of the next move for your life (career, school, the next fitness goal) all you need to is act. The rest will work itself out. It always does. Who cares if it is the wrong move? If it is you will know immediately and be able to change direction.

But nothing can change direction that isn’t already in motion.

This is Jay saying, I know you can do it. Now go out there and prove it!

  1. There is no doubt about it. If we live on the earthly plane, we can’t expect anything much to happen if we don’t take action on it. I think action AND faith is the most powerful combination: faith that when we take action, things will work out! But I also feel we have to be aware of what is working and what is not working, otherwise we could keep doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result.

    1. Hi Liz,

I like your point about being aware because doing the same things over and over (while expecting a result) is insanity. We have to constantly observe our habits to make sure we are on the right path.

      Thank you for your comment.
